Two Layers of Protection
Every Beauchemin Roofing project comes with two types of warranty coverage: our workmanship warranty and the manufacturer's material warranty.
Workmanship Warranty
Our workmanship warranty covers the quality of installation — how the roofing material was applied to your home. This means if any issue arises due to how we installed your roof, we come back and fix it at no additional cost to you.
This covers items like:
- ► Improper sealing of flashings or penetrations
- ► Shingles that lift or fail due to installation error
- ► Leaks caused by improper valley or joint construction
- ► Fastener placement or pattern issues
- ► Ventilation system installation defects
Manufacturer Material Warranty
The roofing materials themselves carry warranties from the manufacturer. These cover defects in the material — things like premature granule loss, manufacturing flaws, or material that fails before its rated lifespan. We work with industry-leading manufacturers:
- ✓ CertainTeed — Up to 50-year limited warranty on architectural shingles, with enhanced coverage when installed by a credentialed contractor
- ✓ Metal Roofing Systems — 40-year paint finish warranties and lifetime structural warranties from leading metal roofing manufacturers
- ✓ Flat Roofing Membranes — Material-specific warranties ranging from 15 to 25 years depending on the system installed
How to Make a Warranty Claim

Call us at 250-202-2541 or use our contact form. Describe the issue you are experiencing and when you first noticed it. We keep records of every project we complete, so we can quickly pull up your job details.
On-Site Inspection
Chea will come to your property to inspect the issue in person. We will determine whether the problem is a workmanship issue (covered by our warranty), a material defect (covered by the manufacturer), or something else entirely like storm damage or normal wear.
Resolution
If the issue is covered by our workmanship warranty, we schedule the repair and complete it at no cost to you. If it is a manufacturer defect, we help you file the claim with the manufacturer and coordinate the material replacement. Either way, we handle the process so you do not have to.
Keep Your Warranty Valid
Both workmanship and manufacturer warranties require that the homeowner maintains the roof properly. Neglecting basic maintenance can void your coverage. Here is what you need to do:
Regular Maintenance (Required)

- ✓ Remove debris (needles, leaves, branches) from the roof surface
- ✓ Address moss growth before it becomes severe
- ✓ Trim trees to prevent branch contact with the roof
- ✓ Ensure attic ventilation remains unobstructed
- ✓ Schedule annual roof inspections
